Hai Phong, HCM City triumph in aerobics

Hai Phong and HCM City came out on top at the National Sport Aerobics Championships as both teams brought home four gold, one silver and four bronze medals.

The Ha Noi team was the runners-up with two golds, four silvers and one bronze medal at the event, which wrapped up in the northern port city of Hai Phong on Sunday.

The two-day meet attracted more than 70 athletes nationwide, who competed for 10 sets of medals in both the youth and national championships.

After several years of assistance from HCM City, the hosts Hai Phong have now assumed a strong position with a number of its athletes becoming star members on the national team. — VNS
